Water

Based on extensive experience in the field of water law, our philosophy is that the complexity of water problems is best addressed through problem-solving and negotiation, with litigation as a last resort.

Our Water Practice Group regularly represents clients in local, state, and federal administrative proceedings, and in state and federal courts.

We work on complex resources issues involving a broad range of agencies including:

  • State Water Resources Control Board;
  • Regional Water Quality Control Boards;
  • California Department of Fish and Wildlife;
  • California Department of Water Resources;
  • U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service;
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers;
  • National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries);
  • California Public Utilities Commission;
  • Various regional, county, and city governments.
