Our Water Practice Group focuses on California water rights law and related areas of natural resources law, including endangered species, water quality, and all aspects of environmental law.

Based on extensive experience in the field of water law, our philosophy is that the complexity of water problems is best addressed through problem-solving and negotiation, with litigation as a last resort.

Our Water Practice Group regularly represents clients in local, state, and federal administrative proceedings, and in state and federal courts.

We work on complex resources issues involving a broad range of agencies including:

  • State Water Resources Control Board;
  • Regional Water Quality Control Boards;
  • California Department of Fish and Wildlife;
  • California Department of Water Resources;
  • U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service;
