Jed Gibson is a Partner in Ellison Schneider Harris & Donlan. Jed earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis. His practice specializes in serving retail electric service providers, municipal utilities, small and multi-jurisdictional utilities, developers and owners of conventional and renewable generating facilities, as well as industrial concerns, assisting these clients with California energy regulatory policy and administrative litigation before the California Public Utilities and California Energy Commissions. He has expertise in Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS) policy, eligibility, procurement, and compliance issues. Jed has also supported clients with acquisitions, power purchase and sales agreements, interconnection agreements, and permitting and environmental issues related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Before joining the firm, Jed worked as a legal clerk for a number of organizations, including the California Department of Fish and Game, Downey Brand LLP, and McDonough Holland & Allen PC, and he served as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California. Jed graduated with a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior & Evolution from the University of California at San Diego.
